New Health Blog

Some of you know that I started up my own business a few weeks ago. We decided to name our business "Insight to Health". My new blog site is insighttohealth.blogspot.com. We came up with this name because it describes a little bit of my iridology and my Master Herbalist backgrounds. What do you think of the new name?
Since starting my business, I have been reading eyes and offering lots of advice on health. I have been to the Provo and Thanksgiving Point farmer's markets. I have been in the Spanish Fork wellness fair. I have been on a local TV station, and have done 2 interviews and an eye reading for the BYU newspaper! I have met many wonderful people as my clientel begins to grow. I have been able to work with people who are trying to lose weight, to infertility, to cancer. What a miracle it is to watch miracles happen!! Thanks to all of you who have been supporting me! I still need iridology practice if you are interested!
I have also purchased an iris microscope/camera to help me to read eyes better. When I am able to use this camera, I can see so much detail (144 different points of health) that I am able to write a 30-40 page report on a person's physical and emotional health!
I have come a long way from just learning this information for my family. I am also working with two other Master Herbalists in creating a seperate business. We are going to start teaching classes all over Utah. If you are interested in us coming to your area, just let me know! I have had so much fun in working with each of you. I love you all! Thanks again for your belief and AMAZING support!

Our little family

It was an adventure to get to some of these places with my heels on, but I am greatful I did it because it made for a great background. How lucky I am to have the 2 cutest boys to pose with me!

My boys

This picture brings joy to my heart. I feel that my boys were captured so perfectly! They were sitting on the ski lift at Brighton, and enjoying every minute of it. I am so glad that we were able to capture such a fun moment so perfectly!

Kiss kiss

Jamin is kissing happy! He LOVES to kiss anyone and anything. He pucker's his lips out like a duck and doesn't move them until he has kissed all that he want's to kiss. It just so happened that he wanted to kiss the bear and racoon. How I love those kisses!

Peach Days

We have a tradition of going to Peach Days in Brigham City. We always watch the parade and eat at Maddox- yum! We had such a fun time. Poor Jamin got a bit of a fever though, so we didn't do all of the activities that we usually do. The good thing was that Jamin was only sick for less then 24 hours! We got him some herbs and my Dad and Kevin gave him a sweet blessing. By morning he was back to his usual self. What a blessing!

Jamin loved his hat! My mom was selling these hats to those at the parade. The strings light up and everything! Jamin sure looked HOT!

Swimming in Park City

We went to visit Heather in Park City. Heather was staying there for her birthday. We did some shopping and went swimming. It was so fun! Thanks Heather, and Happy Birthday! Heather and Wyatt.

Wyatt and Kiley :)

Jami and Wyatt (I know, Jami looks too good to be swimming!)

My Happy Little Jamin. He sure loves to swim!

Potty Training

We have started the potty training!! Jamin loves his new underware, but he is still not great at going in the potty. The reason that I started potty training so soon is because it is either potty training, or having Jamin run around the house naked and going potty wherever he wants! I think I will take the potty training! What a poser! I love it!

Hot Stuff

I had to post this- isn't he so stinkin' cute??

July 24th

I decided to try the wake skate. This is me getting up, but then....

This is me trying to stay up! What a face! I had so much fun though once I got the hang of it!

This was Jamin's first experience with a sparkler. He was a little afraid of it at first, but then he LOVED them! You would never think that by the excited look on his face, but I promise that he liked it!

Health Blog

I just started my health blog. There isn't much on there yet, but I have some links to my school for those who have been asking. I am going to be adding healthy recipes and info from infertility to cancer. For those of you who don't know, herbs are not just for minor cuts and scrapes. They literally heal the whole system. I am going to be blogging about my experience in healing my hypothyroidism. I am also experimenting with Kevin's "little" thumb right now. He chopped it off when he was 14 and we are going to work on restoring some of the damaged tissues. (Yes, even old wounds can be helped.) I love that I get to work from home. I love that I get to see and hear about miracles everyday. Who knows, maybe you will be my next miracle! My blog address is shellswordsofwisdom.blogspot.com. Enjoy!

Graduated Woman

I graduated last week! I am now a Master Herbalist- YEAH! I went through a whole week of testing and seminars. Thanks to all of you who have helped me on my journey. Thanks Holly and Jami for the countless hours of babysitting Jamin and loving him while I was gone.I appreciate it more then you know.
I am starting my own health and wellness blog for some of the people I am working with, but I am keeping it open to friends and family. I will post the address of it soon. Feel free to ask me health questions. I can help with anything you can throw at me. I am also starting my Iridology courses next week. I will be able to read your eyes soon. For those of you who are long distance, I could even have you take pics of your eyes and read them- isn't that amazing!!

Graduated Woman

I am FINISHED! YEAH! I am so excited to be done with school for a small moment. For those of you who don't know, I just graduated as a Master Herbalist. I finished the 3 year course in a year. It has been the most difficult and rewarding journey that I have been through. It was a lot like being pregnant. I was miserable at the time, but the end rewards were worth the effort. I spent all of last week in testing and seminars. It was a wonderful and exhausting experience. I have to thank all of you who supported me and have helped me with Jamin. Kevin has been especially wonderful. I couldn't have made it without all of your support and love. Your enthusiasm keeps me going. I have to especially thank Holly, Connie and Jami for all of the babysitting hours and for loving Jamin so much. I can't thank you enough!

I have decided to start a blog for all of you who are interested in finding out more about what I am doing. I am going to post some of the programs that I use the most for healing. I am also going to allow people to ask me health questions. Feel free to ask anything. I am starting my own business with it also. I am teaching about health and writting some articles on Natural Healing. I also meet one-on-one if that is what you want, but it is cheeper to just ask me on my blog (we all like FREE, right?). If it is something more in-depth, I will try to talk about it on the phone or in person.

I am also starting my iridology courses next week. Just when I thought I would be done with homework for a while I was prompted to finish this course also. I have many people excited to have their eyes read. I will let you know when I am finished with that. I will post my health blog address soon. Until next time, stay well and healthy!

Lake Tahoe Swim day

Kevin was such a good rock-skipper. Can you see how clear the lake is?? It was so beautiful!

Jarett and Kevin went snorkling in the clear waters of Lake Tahoe. It was pretty cold, but they braved the temp and ended up having a lot of fun. I just wish that I didn't have a sinus infection so that I could have joined them!

This was Jamin's version of skipping rocks. He watched his Dad doing it and thought that he would try. Somehow, I don't know if this rock was going to get very far!

This was the Gilbert Family clan that joined us on the trip. My mom was also able to come. We had so much fun! Jarett was able to go with his family. We were only with Jeremy and Chrissy for a few hours during their reception.

Our little family on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Jamin was so brave! He just jumped into that cold water and played and played. He sure is a water baby!

Lake Tahoe, NV

This is Jamin in our condo. He sure loves my green smoothies. Kevin took this picture with his green smoothie mustache. Too cute!

Connie treated us to a night at the Shakespearian Festival. We watched the play "Much Ado About Nothing". I enjoyed the comedy. Jamin was able to join us. We were outside on the shore of Lake Tahoe. It was a beautiful setting! Kevin had to play with Jamin during the first half, but then the little angel fell asleep in my arms. It is sometimes hard to concentrate with all of his energy, but I sure love having Jamin with us!

Kevin and Grandpa Ken with all of the grandkids outside of our condo in Stateline, NV.

This was the playground that they had for kids at the condo. It wasn't much, but Jamin sure enjoyed it!

The old school in Virginia City, NV

We were able to visit the old school. Kevin and Jamin enjoyed pulling on the old school bell.

This is us outside of the school. The building was HUGE! It had 4 large floors. It is now a museum and office building. It was fun to see!

Aren't we such good students!

I think this picture speaks for itself!!

My big little student!

Virgina City, NV

We were able to ride the train around Virginia City. It is an old mining town just outside of Carson City. I enjoyed looking at all of the old homes and buildings more then I cared about the mining. It was a fun day!

We had some robbers on our train! They put on a fun show for us. Jamin really loved to hear the guns shooting. He is my brave little soldier!

Are you jealous of my tough man or what!

We were allowed to get a picture in the engine. It was sure hot in there, but it was a good memory! We started our train ride with a modern engine while this old steam engine was in the shop. On the way back we were able to change engines. That was fun to watch!

I think it was nap time!

Squa Valley USA

For those of you who are old enough to remember, Squaw Valley was home to the winter Olympics in the 1960's. We were able to ride the tram up and have a fun picnic on top. It was a beautiful day!

Here we are on top of the mountain. You can see the Olympic flags behind us. It was so beautiful!

Looking over the mountain you can see Lake Tahoe behind us. What a beautiful area to spend the day!

Mom and Jamin with Lake Tahoe behind them.

Jamin was crazy bored with all of the traveling that he did. One of his sources of entertainment was drinking without his hands. Who needs toys anyway??
