Our state room

We were able to go on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera on March 5. We went with Ken and Connie, Kyle and Kenna , and Larry and Lilly Harrington. We had so much fun! I hated leaving Jamin, but I was excited to spend time with Kevin. It was like a second honeymoon. It was so memorable! I am so greatful to Ken and Connie for allowing us to go with them. We love you!

Radiance of the Seas Ship

We traveled on the Royal Carribean cruise line. Ken and Connie took us on this fabulous cruise. We were so spoiled! Thank you, thank you for allowing us to share in the fun with you! We can't thank you enough for the memories! It was more fun then we even imagined. I am not sure why this picture is the wrong way, oh well. It was still fun!

Mini Golfing

I have always had "beginners luck", and it wasn't much different on this little golf course. I didn't win, but I did have some amazing lucky shots! I even got a hole in one on a par 4! I loved it!

Adventures on the ship

Our first few days on the ship were lots of fun. We loved rock climbing high above the sea, playing shuffle board, and watching the shows. I just wish it wasn't so windy!

WE were always amazed at the talented chefs on the food presentation. So cool!

Rock Climbing

Kevin and I sure enjoyed rock climbing on the ship! I even beat Kevin while climbing up the wall! (I have to admit that I took an easier route ;)

Dressing up for Dinner

I enjoyed dressing up for dinner each night. It always felt like a special occasion. I think that dressing up made the food taste better! Everything just seemed so wonderful! I am never one to complain about dressing up! I especially enjoyed seeing Kevin looking so handsome each night. I only see him dress up for church at home. He looked so handsome!

Getting ready for our catamaran Adventure

The whole clan went on the catamaran adventure off of Puerta Vallarta. We had Ken, Connie, Larry, Kyle, Kenna, Kevin, Michelle and Lilly is taking the picture. I loved how green everything was. It was so beautiful compared to the desserts of Huntington!

Puerta Vallarta

We didn't spend much time on land. We just got on the boat and went out to some islands. We did do a little shopping at the port, but we spent most of the time at sea. It was a wonderful day!

The Marietta (sp?) Islands

We took a catamaran out to these beautiful Islands. We were able to go Kayacking (sp?), snorkeling, and whale watching. We saw so many whales and dolphins. The whales were breaching (jumping) like crazy! The males were competing, and the mom's and baby's were swimming together. It was better then any other whale watch I had ever seen! Kevin and I are the ones in the Kayack.

Enjoying the ride. It was an hour and a half out to the islands.

Some of the beautiful fish we got to swim with.

Dinner, yummy dinner!

How I loved dinner on the ship! It was fun to be all together and talk about the adventures of the day. You can tell that we had fun!

Mazetlan

We hired a man to drive us around the city in a van. We got to see lots of beautiful sites and buildings. We were also able to do lots of shopping, eating and walking along the beach. It was a warm and perfect day. We had so much fun!

Ocean Views of Mazetlan

Kevin and I are water fans! We wished that the weather was warmer so that we could have spent more time in the water, but it was still so beautiful!

City Adventures

These men would dive off of these towers into the ocean. It was pretty spectacular to watch. We saw lots of churches on our tour. I just love old buildings!

Lunch and fun

For lunch we went to a little authentic cafe. We were serenaded during lunch. It was so fun! I wish we had more time to spend on the beach. The water was not that warm, but it was sure pretty!

Lovers

Here we are on the glass bottom boat. It was sure windy, but oh so fun! This beach is known as "Lover's Beach". You can only really get to this beach by a boat. It was so pretty (and somewhat secluded ;)

The glass bottom boat

We went out on a "glass bottom boat" to view the coastline and arches of Cabo. I had to laugh when we got on the boat because it just had a window on the bottom of the boat. It was one of our favorite moments of the whole vacation though! We had so many laughs and adventures. One of our funny moments was while we were looking through the window at the fish. Connie pointed out a turtle and then we ALL saw it. The funny thing was that it was not a turtle at all, it was a reflection of Lilly's head!
To the left of Kevin you can see the "scoobie doo" rock. Those arches were so pretty!

We sure enjoyed the seals! Kevin even had a converstion with one of them!

The Romance

Everyone called us or asked us if we were honeymooners! I LOVED it! I felt like a honeymooner with having Kevin all to myself again. Our tour guide loved to be our photographer. He would take our camera and say, "I want the honeymooners to kiss", so we would kiss for our picture. As we waited for him to take the picture he always found something wrong with the camera. He would take as long as possible and find many distractions so that he could keep us kissing as long as possible. Everyone had a good laugh over the things he would do. Hey, Kevin and I didn't mind! This was a beautiful resort on Cabo. They have to make the pools spectacular because you are not allowed to swim in the ocean.

The Harbor

This view was amazing! Cabo is such a pretty city!

I love this shot because it not only shows the beautiful coastline, but we have the blue agave in the shot. I wish I could take some of that agave home with me!

Oh Kevin

This rock was going to be the perfect place for a picture. We loved how the wave crashed against the rock and created this beautiful splash. Just before I got this great picture of Kevin with the splash behind him, this happened..... I saw the splash coming so I told Kevin to run to the "perfect" place. As he was runing on the rock he slipped on the moss. During the awesome crash moment I just happened to click my camera for this perfect moment caught on camera. I have to laugh as I see his legs and arms in the air. Nothing makes me quite as giddy as watching moments of stupidity that are Oh so funny! (I am just glad that he was not too hurt!) Thanks for the laughs Kev!

The beaches of Cabo

I wish we could have swam in the ocean, but the undercurrent was too strong. It was sure beautiful to look at though! Larry and Lilly Harrington, Connie, Kevin, Michelle and Ken Gilbert. We sure had fun on our van tour together!

Enjoying Cabo

We hired a van on Cabo and drove around the city. We stopped and had lunch at a cute little authentic Mexian place. It was so yummy!

I had to get a picture with the flag! I wish I had money because the little shops around this plaza had amazing jewlery!

Ed Regine

We had a comedian on the cruise named Ed Regine. He does the late night shows on TV and travels all over the world on cruise ships doing his shows. Kevin and I were lucky enough to sit by him one night during another show on the ship. We became fast friends with him and his wife. It is amazing to realize that even "Hollywood" people can be so down-to-earth and normal! We sure enjoyed meeting him!

Glass Making Factory

While we were in Cabo we were able to visit a glass factory. I was amazed to see how much work goes into making glass figurines. Ken and Connie had them make this Watusi Cow for them, but we were sad to find out that they can't take it home because it needs to cure for 16 hours! It was fun watching it though!

Coming Home

Coming home was actually exciting because we got to go and get Jamin! We missed him so much! He didn't exactly seem overly excited to see us because he was tired, but it was a wonderful moment for us! Thank you so much to my wonderful family for loving him and taking care of him while we were away. I couldn't have done it without you!
