Lake Tahoe Swim day

Kevin was such a good rock-skipper. Can you see how clear the lake is?? It was so beautiful!

Jarett and Kevin went snorkling in the clear waters of Lake Tahoe. It was pretty cold, but they braved the temp and ended up having a lot of fun. I just wish that I didn't have a sinus infection so that I could have joined them!

This was Jamin's version of skipping rocks. He watched his Dad doing it and thought that he would try. Somehow, I don't know if this rock was going to get very far!

This was the Gilbert Family clan that joined us on the trip. My mom was also able to come. We had so much fun! Jarett was able to go with his family. We were only with Jeremy and Chrissy for a few hours during their reception.

Our little family on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Jamin was so brave! He just jumped into that cold water and played and played. He sure is a water baby!

Lake Tahoe, NV

This is Jamin in our condo. He sure loves my green smoothies. Kevin took this picture with his green smoothie mustache. Too cute!

Connie treated us to a night at the Shakespearian Festival. We watched the play "Much Ado About Nothing". I enjoyed the comedy. Jamin was able to join us. We were outside on the shore of Lake Tahoe. It was a beautiful setting! Kevin had to play with Jamin during the first half, but then the little angel fell asleep in my arms. It is sometimes hard to concentrate with all of his energy, but I sure love having Jamin with us!

Kevin and Grandpa Ken with all of the grandkids outside of our condo in Stateline, NV.

This was the playground that they had for kids at the condo. It wasn't much, but Jamin sure enjoyed it!

The old school in Virginia City, NV

We were able to visit the old school. Kevin and Jamin enjoyed pulling on the old school bell.

This is us outside of the school. The building was HUGE! It had 4 large floors. It is now a museum and office building. It was fun to see!

Aren't we such good students!

I think this picture speaks for itself!!

My big little student!

Virgina City, NV

We were able to ride the train around Virginia City. It is an old mining town just outside of Carson City. I enjoyed looking at all of the old homes and buildings more then I cared about the mining. It was a fun day!

We had some robbers on our train! They put on a fun show for us. Jamin really loved to hear the guns shooting. He is my brave little soldier!

Are you jealous of my tough man or what!

We were allowed to get a picture in the engine. It was sure hot in there, but it was a good memory! We started our train ride with a modern engine while this old steam engine was in the shop. On the way back we were able to change engines. That was fun to watch!

I think it was nap time!

Squa Valley USA

For those of you who are old enough to remember, Squaw Valley was home to the winter Olympics in the 1960's. We were able to ride the tram up and have a fun picnic on top. It was a beautiful day!

Here we are on top of the mountain. You can see the Olympic flags behind us. It was so beautiful!

Looking over the mountain you can see Lake Tahoe behind us. What a beautiful area to spend the day!

Mom and Jamin with Lake Tahoe behind them.

Jamin was crazy bored with all of the traveling that he did. One of his sources of entertainment was drinking without his hands. Who needs toys anyway??

Swimming in Reno

Here we are at the fun pool in our hotel in Reno. Jamin can't get enough of the water! (Actually, Kevin looks more excited then Jamin does!)

Jamin is not a poser- any suggestions??

Jamin loved the waterfall- who wouldn't??

Jamin getting spoiled with both of his Grandmother's attention.

They had little personel swimming pools right next to the main pool. I know that they look like little hot tubs, but they are actually the same temp as the pool. Jamin loved having the bubbles, being able to touch the bottom, and having his own space. I think these pools are a great idea!!

Wedding Reception in Reno

Here is our little family at Jeremy and Chrissy's wedding reception in Reno.

Isn't my little man so handsome in his suit!!
Don't you just love Kevin's shoes??

The Better video

Kevin's first wake-skate. I had to show this video for my Kev because he said the last one was more of a whimpy crash video then anything. Enjoy the moves!

Kevin on the wake-skate

Kevin was a natural at the wake-skate. It is a combinating of a wake-board and a skate-board. This one had no fins, so it was extra difficult. Kev was able to get up and going his very first try! Way to go babe! I just love watching him as he get's better and better!

July 4 on the boat

I know these are in the wrong order- sorry! After boating all day, we stayed out on the boat to watch the fireworks. It was pretty cool to see all of the different cities putting on their firework shows. Jamin loved the "lights" as he would say. The only sad part was that it was so windy out on the lake. What a fun way to watch the lights and enjoy the holiday. Thanks to Brandon and Jami for such a fun day! This was us on the boat as the fireworks were starting to go off.

I love Jamin's little outfit. I think he is even posing! What good-looking men I have in my life!
Holly is the Queen of the wakeboard- go Holly!!

July 4, 2009

After our traditional family breakfast with the Jenkins Family (I forgot my camera :() We had a BBQ and then went boating. Here is Kevin showing off his little belly! HaHa babe- your HOT! Laura Ashley always makes us laugh. She is pretty smooth with some of her moves!

Dad and mom made us laugh as they bounced and screamed in the tube! I was impressed that they were even able to get on. Who says they are getting old??

Mom was just a little crazy as she rode with Taylor. She couldn't quite seem to stand up long enough for me to get a pic. Crazy, Crazy!

Jeremy is married!

They make a cute couple don't they! We are so happy to welcome Chrissy into the family! For those of you who don't know her- she is so adorable! We couldn't be happier for them! Silipa and Jamin- too cute!

My happy boys- what memories I have of them playing together!

Wedding pics

Kimberlyn, Treven, and Jamin are the three grandchildren of the Gilbert clan- what fun smiles they are all displaying for us!

What a STUD! I love my little Jamin in his suit! (I am sure you guessed that the wedding color was purple!

One happy family!

What beautiful blue eyes my little one has!

Kevin's work party

Brandon took all of the Mongolians and his crew of guys out boating. Most of the Mongolians didn't know how to swim, but they got out on the tube anyway. It was such a fun day! Thanks Brandon and Jami! Taylor is the toughest kid I know! He would go out with all of the guys and get slammed by them after a huge crash, then climb back on and do it again! I love that kid!

This was Jamin's first time out on the tube. He is such a fan of the water and speed, so it was a good combination- I just wish it wasn't so close to nap time!

I bet you are wondering if Jamin ever smiles when he is having fun- the answer is YES! (I just can't seem to capture it!)

This was the whole crew (except me of course- "photographer") out on the boat that day. It was a party indeed!
