My bull rider

Not that I am a fan of Jamin becomming a bull rider, but I think that he is a natural! He sure enjoyed the ride! It was so fun to watch him get bucked off, but wanting to get up and do it again. Boys are crazy!

Easter at the Gilbert's

Thank you Ken and Connie for spoiling our little Jamin! He sure enjoys his new toys! We had a wonderful Easter together. One of my favorite memories of Easter this year was on our drive down to Huntington. We have about a 90 minute drive down to Kevin's parents. We went down there on Sunday (Easter morning). Kevin and I were able to talk and share our testimonies of our Savior and of the gifts of the Atonement and the Resurrection. What an amazing gift we were given! I think my favorite part of it all is that it means that we can make mistakes. What really matters in this life is how we get ourselfs up from falling down and get on with the journey. I am so greatful to know that the Lord does not see me for my mistakes, but for the great person I am becomming. How greatful I am to Him!

Mommy Handsome man

Jamin is just growing up so fast! He is 18 months old now!! How fun it is to watch them grow. He is still my little baby boy though. Jamin is just so small that he will be my little baby for some time. His size is good because I still hold him everywhere I go. I just can't get enough of my little baby Jamin!

Cowboy-in-traning

Kev had to try to rope the momma cow to milk her (to relieve her suffering, not to drink!) I laughed and laughed at his "skills". Let's just say that he could use a little more practise!

The Easter Calf

A new calf was born on the Gilbert Family "farm" last week. Jamin sure loved playing, riding, and petting the new calf. He just loves animals!

Our Easter morning

So, I added these pics because they all made me laugh! These wer pics of our Easter morning together. Our camera was left in the car so the lens was foggy (it just adds to the effect!). The first pic looks like Kevin's head was pasted on from another pic! I look sick or stoned- I haven't decided!?! I had eczema on my eyelids (weird, I know!) so I wasn't wearing make-up. The last pic is almost too typical of Kev, but that is what I love about him! He has the most contagious smile! Enjoy the Easter laughs!

Laura Ashley Moments

We have a lot of fun with our Ash. She is so adorable! She had her friend Harrision join us for Easter this year. She was picked on a lot, but we sure love her!

Biorge Party

What a memorable Easter with the Biorge family! Holly wasn't able to come to the party on Saturday, so we had another party on Monday. It was so good to have 2 excuses to get together with the family and party! It was fun to do the egg hunt this year with Jamin. I have to admit that he wasn't all that interested in getting the eggs, but Kevin sure was!

Grandkids

We were missing Holly's little Tyson, but this is the rest of the grandkids on the Biorge side. My mom is a crazy grandma. She put all of the kids in the wagon on the neighbors driveway. She would let go of the handle and let the kids roll down on their own. They would pick up speed and ride into the street and eventually stop. It was a little on the dangerous side according to me (the over-protective-mother!). I guess I just let go of my nervousness and laughed in the name of fun. Happy Easter!

Bubbles

Jamin's new favorite love is for bubbles! I know that his expressions are not those of a typical bubble enthusist, but it was my camera's fault! I need a camera with no delay options! I keep missing all of the good shots!

Wyatt's first birthday

Jami's youngest boy Wyatt just turned one. He is getting the walking thing down really well! Wyatt and Jamin are just about the same size even though Jamin is 6 months older. We love you Wyatt!

Yardwork

This is what happens when I leave the yard work to the boys! I think they were having too much fun! Thanks dad and mom for all the help you gave us! (I also have to thank Brandon for the tractor! It came to good use when our septic tank overflowed that afternoon! What an adventure that was! It didn't help that our basement had flooded that morning. Isn't life great!)

Blue Beans

I recently tried a new reciepie for beans. I got everything presoaked and chopped up. I mixed up the garlic and onions in my blender, but forgot that I had left dishsoap in there from before. The soap made my hard work turn blue! Needless to say, we didn't eat them!
