This spring we were able to tour what the locals refer to as "the Desert". I enjoyed the desert cactus flowers. Kevin's favorite were the snakes he saw carved into the rock. This is a reference to pointing to a trail. Kevin thinks that he is going to discover something new by all of the Indian writings he translates and explores for us.
